GE G3 Rebuild

Complete rebuild of the HP, IP, LPA, generator, exciter, boiler feed pump turbines… down to removing sole plates. Machined and cutoff all existing valves [main stop valves, control valves, combined reheat intercept valves, extraction non-return valves] to be reworked, reinstalled, and welded in place. Manufactured support stands to hold valves in position.

Reinstalled used equipment and set back to the proper centerline.

TurbinePROs coordinated the extensive repair work, scheduling, budget, and managed labor resources that ranged from 20- 100 craftsmen.

We provided a high-quality team of experts to disassemble and assist in the evaluation.

We successfully managed quality, safety, and scheduling of all craft labor and various repair companies throughout the process.

“This highly unusual project required TurbinePROs to mobilize at a moment’s notice and take on a colossal task of removing and rebuilding everything down to the sole plates.”

John Loubier, President & CEO / TurbinePROs
